SBE21 Sustainable Built Heritage | 14-16 April 2021

The conference will be dedicated to the sustainable improvement of the built heritage, a research area that has grown significantly over the last 10 years and that is currently gaining even more momentum. With a focus on “Renovating historic buildings for a low-carbon built heritage”, the conference will foster a multidisciplinary dialogue between scholars and practitioners working in the fields of energy efficiency and historic building conservation with the aim of finding together the solutions that will bring our common heritage into a sustainable future.
SBE Partners select a host for the World SBE23 conference

The SBE Partners have completed their formal evaluations of the three detailed proposals to host the World SBE23 conference that were received from Glasgow, Montreal and Shenzhen.
The evaluation was carried out using the scoring criteria that were established in April. The paper assessment was followed by a videoconference, held on 30 April, in which the SBE Partners held a detailed discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of each proposal.
Proposals for World SBE2023 Conference

Ten expressions of interest for the World SBE2023 Conference were received on 17 January and three applicants were invited to submit detailed proposals by 31 March. The three applicants come from Montreal, Glasgow and Shenzhen.The SBE partners will review the proposals during April and announce the results at World SBE20 in Gothenburg.
